Not sure if this belongs in robotics but... question using ultrasonic transduce

I couldnt find a better forum to put this·question in, so here it is.
I·have a 215khz ultrasonic transducer, just the transducer.· I was wondering·what circuitry it would take to·send it pulses·from a bs2px and then recieve the recieve pulse, similar to the Ping)) sensor on parallax.· I·have done some research on this already, but I still do not have enough information on the circuit needed to·make the return pulse usable for the basic stamp.?··If anyone has any knowledge on this topic·that would be great to hear back from you.
ps. I did first try using the ping sensor but I needed a higher freq transducer to accomplish the job I needed to do.·
