Jonw, · ·· It’s not that the Stamp Module cannot drive a MOSFET directly.· This AppNote just does things differently.· As for the current issue, it may help to understand that the MAX7219 isn’t driving all segments on all digits at the same time.· The digits are being strobed, so you only need to worry about current for one digit, and even then if something else is driving the cathodes, then the MAX7219 isn’t the source of the current.· I will post what I end up building.
