Suggestions for controlling Galvos/high speed motors?

I came across one of these little guys:

and I am trying to figure out if there is a galvo·controller that anybody has worked with for the SX.· On Cambridge's website, they have this controller:

...but I am sort of afraid to see what the price is.

Does anyone have any recommendations for closed-circuit galvos?
