EEPROM BS2 to BSsx

Hi All,
I'm currently programming a Halloween project and have been using a BS2, but I see now that I'm going to run out of memory and don't want to compromise the program to try to make it fit. It looks like the BS2sx would be a good step up for me but I've never used one. I don't have the BS2sx yet but I tried switching the "Stamp Mode" on the program to BS2sx just to see what the memory map would look like and it is no different than the BS2 as far as size goes. Is there anything I have to do differently with the BS2sx or will it take care of itself?

My thoughts are that I can just swap out Stamps, load the program and be done with it. Is this a correct assumption?

The BS2 has one bank of 2K memory for your program. The SX has 8 banks of 2K. You have to split up your program by using different code and go back and forth between banks. I don't have a good reference on how to do this, so maybe someone else has a good link.

You'll need to verify the timing of the commands due to the fact that the BS2sx is 2 1/2 times faster than the BS2.· Look at the "RUN" command for an example regarding the different slots of memory.

Thanks Dave, I didn't think to look at the added commands for those Stamps. RUN really clairifies what needs to happen to make it work.
