My computer has no serial connectors!
O.K. My computer has USB, A few of them but my Parallax projects are all serial. And so I took a switch box and I put two DB-9 males on the Outputs. And the Input a female DB-9 I put inside the box, and the USB adapter is hanging out the backside. (I have to figure to put this on the inside of the box so I don't break it off) Here are three pictures I hope this is a helper to those without serial ports.

I am wondering if the FTDI drivers are in the service updates from Microsoft? I am running Windows XP Professional Ver: 2002 with Service Pack 2.
The USB COM port for both the BASIC Stamp and Propeller are COM4 and both programs can be opened using the same port but the programs respectively do not recognize the wrong configuration.
However I did encounter one difficulty, I had to re-boot my computer (after 24 hours) for recognition of the propeller. Is this something you might imply by the drivers? I want to know 'cause If Im running V2.0.0.0 I don't want to downgrade to V1.02.07.
Thank-You
