IDE 3.2 Calibration Issue

I have learned from this forum that a known problem with SX-KEY IDE 3.2 is that it will not calibrate the IRC.

First, when will an update be released to fix this. It is a critical issue for me. I have written new code using the WORD functionallity (great addition!) but it's going into existing hardware with no external calibration components.

Second, I'm trying to determine if there is a work-around. It seems that if I first program and calibrate a chip using IDE 3.1, and then use IDE 3.2 to proram my new code (without calibration) into the same chip, then the chip will still be calibrated. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks for your help!

    Ron,
    · The SX/B compiler is a seperate program from the IDE.
    · You can just copy the new SXB.EXE file to the same folder under the 3.1 IDE.
    · Then you can use the new SX/B features from the 3.1 IDE and still calibrate the SX chip.

Simple - and it works! Thanks for the very quick response.

    Should I also copy INVALID.TXT and RESERVED.TXT from 3.2 into 3.1?

Regarding 1.51.02 you've posted, the extracted file is named SXB.ex_ rather than SXB.exe. Is this intentional? Should I just rename it to .exe or has the zip file become corrupted?

Also, I assume that I don't need to load 1.51.01 before I load 1.51.02. Is that correct?

    Thanks!!

    Ron,
    · Oops, Thanks for catching that.·When I e-mail the file, some servers block a zip file that contains an EXE file.
    · Yes, just rename it to SXB.EXE.
    · And you should copy all the files in the SXB directory to the new IDE.
