There are several PS controllers talked about in the basic stamp area http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=599358 is one of them.

Here's my thread on it in the projects section: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=573796

It's pretty easy to do, buy an adapter (or make your own), wire a simple circuit, copy and paste the program, change the code to make your BOE respond when you move hte joystick in a direction or push a button.

Well its nicer to get an adaptor so you can plug the controller in and out easily. You could just splice the wires on the controller's end, but it wont look as clean, you cant detach it, and you cant use the ps2 controller (for a ps2). You can get a premade adaptor from www.lynxmotion.com for about $15 for one, or you can buy a controller extension cable and cut that to make an adaptor.
