hello,
was wondering if anyone has any good resources for circuit design tips and general rules of thumb.
OR if anyone knows of a program which you can input your components and connections and it will design the most efficient circuit, sort of along the lines of the new generative artificial intelligence computer design things that are coming out...
thanks

Not bad mouthing anyone...just everyone has a slightly different way of doing things.
But to attempt to answer your question, it'd be best to know exactly what you're planning. Radio Frequency design is a bit of an art/science and probably the harder one to deal with. Where as, digital IC's are fairly straitforward.
With regards to the stamps, don't exceed the pin sink/source limits else you'll burn them up.
Some guys swear by opto-isolators when connecting their stamps to 'the real world'...lest a misplaced AC wire fires in to your stamp and kill sit (same goes for lightning...but more precautions should be taken if that's a concern).
