Basic Stamp 2 IC datasheet

Hi,
Does anybody know where I can get the BS2 IC datasheet?

I have checked the BS2 website at the link below but it only have the FAQ

    ·· This is about as close to a datasheet as we have for the BASIC Stamp.· Since the BASIC Stamp is really a hybrid module comprised of several parts, if you need those types of characteristics you would need to look at the datasheets for the individual components.· Scroll to the bottom of the page for a free PDF download.

    The BS2 is based on the PIC 16C57, so you can download the manual for that from the Microchip website. It won't help you much, because the Parallax "PBasic" run-time environment is burned into the PIC, with the security bits set, so it can't be read. That's their intellectual property, after all.

    Having said that, Parallax does have available information on an OEM version of the BS2, so you can check that out too.
