Spin can perform 70K+ Instructions/Sec on average. Depending on how much you need in the code, it looks doubtful. ASM would be your best choice in my opinion.
Hi Inaki, it was brought to my attention that if you are looking for asynchronous 1Mbps, the FullDuplexSerial object is capable of doing so. If you are looking for synchronous 1Mbps, no object exists yet and it would need to be written in assembler.
Sorry, I dont fully understand your question. Are you asking what kind of software or hardware interface is needed, and are you asking about the FullDuplexSerial or synchronous serial?
