Those of you who know me and knew how much I have participated in the forums in the past, may have noticed an appreciable drop of in my participation lately. This is because I have been hard at work uprooting and transplanting myself cross country. This Friday the journey begins and I will be completely absent from the forums till September 5th. Upon my return I will resume my former active participation in these forums with good news to share. Till then, adieu and goodbyyyyyyeeeee.

    Sid, you get the prize (though Im pretty sure Peter knew or at least strongly suspected).

    I am Parallax's newest employee. I will be developing applications for the Propeller, so you'll see alot more of me on the forums (if thats even possible). I look forward to helping the Propeller community and will be contributing to the object library, provide some application examples, and providing some documentation on various aspects of the Propeller.

    I'd like to take this time to thank Chip and all the people at Parallax for hiring me. This certainly is a dream come true for me.

    Hi Paul;

    I've had this expectation eversince the Propeller unveiling in February. Anyone would be a fool to give up a candidate as good as you!

    Congratulations to you and to Parallax!

    Cheers,

    I missed this original post....but I had been wondering where you'd disappeared to lately!

    Congrats Paul! You now have free access to all our dream goodies! (no not Pam Andersons...uh, nevermind).

    Look forward to what you have to bring to the team!

    Cheers

    Good going Paul & Parallax. It had to happen, and I goodness knows you've been working hard at that job already!

    I hope you left most of your neckties back east--you won't be needing them much in Rocklin!

    Thanks everyone for the strong show of support.

    Peter, you're correct, I've applied to all technical jobs with Parallax since Feb, to my suprise they gave me a job that was even better than I hoped for.

    Steve_B, yes I've already seen one new product thats really cool, can't say what it is but it's very neat.

    SSteve, I actually heard recently (on NPR)·that the greater Sacramento area is one of the regions that will likely see a significant adjustment in the market, but that it will likely take about a year for people selling thier home to adjust thier expectations accordingly.

    Tracey, nope the ties came with me, but they are hanging in the closet and will likely see very little to no use, some I love way to much to get rid of.
