Hello all,
I have made a board for the speakjet and it works very well. I want to make another board, but was wondering if I really need to put pull-up resistors on the event pins 0-7? My current board uses jumpers to ground these 7 event pins. Does anyone know if the Speakjet has built in pull-ups?

I believe that SpeakJet has some weak pull ups internally BUT I can't confirm that.
Why not contact the Magnevation folks? They can tell you right away. See the
"Contact Us" link on www.speakjet.com. The SuperCarrier board available from
SpeechChips.com uses 4.7K pullups. It can't hurt but check with the Magnevation
folks.
