I assume you already searched at cadsoftusa.de under downloads? You might as well start learning how to make parts, you will need it eventully. If I can't find a part, I will substitute something with the same pinouts, so dig around in the library to see if something looks the same, If so, you can make a new one in the library from the one that is close. If you have trouble, call Ed at tech support, he is very helpful. You could also post at the cadsoft forum and see if anyone has the librarys already, maybe they will email you if so.

I think the most difficult part of learning Eagle is to locate items in the library.
Every system has a different way of cataloguing the huge inventory of potential parts.
But, eventually it is best to be able to make your own parts as there is always something new.
I would be a little surprized that they don't have even a generic resonator in the crystal section.

I just saved quite a bit because I could generate my own Gerber files. I can have boards made locally in Taiwan or go to China.

With Eagle, you can just save your file as usual, send PCBexpress your .brd file by their website, 3 days later you have nice boards at a cheap price. No gerbers, no sorting out how to send the various machine files. I never found a resonator either. I just made one. There is a curve to making parts, start by disecting existing ones. Then it becomes second nature. keep in mind, they don't always appear in alphabetical order when you make your own, my homemade libraries appear near the top of the list, ignoring the alphabet.

Thanks for the tip. Very important

I am committed to Eagle, though the $50 software is about all I could ever want or need.
I don't think I will be going beyond 4 layers or the size of a Eurocard.
