radio control brushless motors

Hi -

The motor controllers - do they just do regular 2 wire DC motors or can they also control 3 wire brushless motors like used in RC air planes? If so which controller do I get?

Most run-of-the-mill motor controllers only work with DC PM motors; that is to say direct current permanent magnet motors as often found in toys and such. There are larger and better DC PM motors available however.
