ADC returning "0"

I am using it with an LM324 opamp and a Sharp IR ranger. I had this working before but after redoing the wiring to clean it up, it doesn't work any more. Any ideas on where to check? Thanks.

    Recheck your new wiring.
    Start with the GND and 5V connections.
    Then check if the data connections are correct (no swapped pins)

    You probably already did that, but as it worked before, it must be in
    the new wiring.

    Hmm, I tried switching pins and it works, seems like my pin 0 is dead [noparse]:([/noparse] . Maybe I can still use it for something else...

    Edit: Just tried pin 0 with my PING sensor, it works great! This is strange...
