Okay, my wife called me on these. I know everyone has their own.

If you have·a Parallax catalog in the bathroom...You might be a geek.
If you take your "Professional Development Board" on vacation...You might be a geek.
If you check the Parallax Forums more than once an hour... You might be a geek.

Bean.

Does taking the laptop (wireless network) to the throne room and using the online shopping site count for the catalog?

Do you get extra bonus points for taking a motor cycle battery to power the board when camping?

    Franklin,
    That would be hexadecimal.

Yes, it is hex, The "hidden meaning" is thinking in bytes, not bits... (two hex digits = one byte), which means I really should have 08 + 08 = 10, but that kind of takes the fun out of things.

What I really want to do is figure out how to write 2 + 2 = 5, have it be correct in some obscure fashion, and take that back to all my math teachers smile.gif

Brain freeze! Somehow I got decimal/binary on the brain and it didn't make sense.

I like the one that goes
There are only 10 kinds of people, those that know binary and those that don't.

Well, 2 + 2 < 4 if one or both of the 2s is travelling at or near the speed of light...:^)

On the jpg there is a connector that fits the sx board and so where can I get one. I bought a AA battery pack from parallax that I use but I would like a few to play around with.

    Thanks,

    Curtis

I got mine from Radio Shack, it's a 2.1 mm plug...
RS should also have the battery connector or you should be able to find it in a hobby shop that sells RC cars...

I got mine from Digikey and I can look up the part numbers if you want them...

I didn't pack my BS2 developerboard, but I did install guestPC with WinXP and the Propeller IDE on my Apple iBook, and put the PropStick, a solderless experimenter board, a box of components and wires in the carry-case...
(Guess who forgot the PSU at home... )

Hey John, if you remember your basic Abbot and Costello, it can be proven by multiplication, division and addition that 7 X 13 = 28!
