writing data to external files?

Hey everybody out there,
I have this nice temperature sensor, which gives me after an ADC the right temperature values in my DEBUG window. (I used the ADC the way it is suggested in the parallax tutorial.) Now I am curious if I can write these datas to an external text file or Exel Sheet so that I can process the data (for example writing a program to create a thermal image 128x128 pixel).
Does anybody have any ideas how I can do that?

It is located under "Additional Software".· It uses·"Excel" for recording data.
