Regarding flea markets, it is now summer and I think that Foothill College has at least one or two more monthly Ham Swapmeet flea markets [I believe it was the 1st Saturday of the month, but you can always call Foothill College and find out.

Where is Foothill College? Right next to Silicon Valley California [Palo Alto/Sunnyvale area].

In the 1980s, it was huge and you could get first pick of just about all the junk that was coming out of Silcon Valley.

This doesn't go on after Labor Day. But if it is still there, it is worth arriving at 6AM in the morning to get a chance at the really choice items.

BTW, I just tried to buy some IRL520 mosfets locally [here in Taiwan] and they are too new for the retailers here. Taiwan has drastically cut down on having any inventory that needs to be dumped at a flea market. They manufacture for export in specfic export zones and everything that is made goes abroad.

In other words, I have to import now in order to get the newest.
