Good morning! turn.gif

Since the BOE-bot can do pretty much ANYTHING you want it to do (so long as you have the accessory and the program), I will show you how to make it do Sumo-Wrestling.

Come back soon and I will have the steps written out.

One problem is that the BOE Bot is too big for mini sumo.

It is true that the Boe-Bot is to big for the mini-sumo competitions, however there are open class competitions that go by weight.

I'm not talking about REAL sumo wrestling. I'm talking about having an opponent for your Advanced Mini Sumo to practice with. eyes.gif

    STEP1

Build the circuit for the IR sensors (you don't need the LEDs) and point them down like they show you in the Boe-Bot book page #255.

I'm not sure the 'Servo' wheels on the BOE-Bot are very strong, compared to real SumoBot competitions. But I could be wrong.

Watch your mouth, kid. skull.gif Wait until I have all the steps written out.
And yes, the Servos on there are quite powerful. (I think they are the same ones as the ones on the SumoBot.)

    STEP2

Point one of the·IR·pairs back up. This will make the robot keep turning in circles until he finds his opponent.
If you want it to spin left, point the right sensor up.
If you want it to spin right, point the·left sensor up.

    STEP 3:

You might want to add a shovel at the front of the robot. Doing this is easy, Just take a piece of metal and screw it on to the front.

That's pretty much all the steps. smile.gif

Note: DO NOT enter the Sumo BOE-bot in REAL competitions. Only have it as a Practice-Opponent for your Advanced Sumo-Bot. Also, have the Sumo Ring low to the ground because the BOE-bot falls off pretty easy. You can fix this problem by taping a small block below its battery pack.
