Ah! That explains a lot, thanks. I'll have to let others answer the Geeks.com question, as I already had enough 'spare' BOE-Bots on hand bought from Parallax.
Somebody should advise Geeks.com that it is against the law to sell as new, used or returned items.
I've purchased many an item at Radio Shack that had been returned and was missing pieces or was broken. The RS sales people haven't a clue as to what they sell so they wouldn't know if something were broken or anything were missing. Now I shop at RS like I do at Frys. Avoid any Taped up package and never, ever purchase anything with one of those Returned Item stickers on it (Frys).
I guess I forgot to follow up on my problem with the used kit they sold me. I did finally get a replacement though it took two weeks. And it was Radio Shack return, the box had a Radio Shack sticker on it.
