Serial Servo Controller control from Python

Not sure if someone could help me out here, but my brothers and me run a website, controlourjunk.com, where you can control an R/C Car, Robotic Claw, Train, Lights, Racecars, etc.. from the web. We've been using an old Windows machine with a .NET program that takes commands from PHP and controls our Parallax Serial Servo Controller. I would like to move the serial controller to a Linux machine with Python on it. I've installed pySerial, but the question is how hard is it to make the servos move from Python? Example code would be excellent, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

While I can't help you with your python question I wanted to say how cool your website is. If you are doing stuff like this at 15, I can only imagine what you can come up with if you have a budget and a nice paycheck to motivate you. Good luck, you have a bright future buddy.


PS...Parallax this young man is a good candidate for·some extra "junk" you guys might have around, it's clear he would put it to good use!
