FTDI Adapter no longer sold by Parallax?

Hey guys!

I've been recommending you as the source for the FTDI USB adapter for a long time now.· Today I found that you're no longer carrying it, as it's been discontinued.

I assume FTDI would replace such a useful product, so related to their core business, so there MUST be a replacement model, no?

But your web page says nothing about that.· I'd hope such a central product to using the BOE would have a replacement indicated.· So is there a replacement?·

    Parallax is coming out with their own version of the USB to serial adapter, which is compact and price friendly.· The new adapter will use the latest FTDI chip (FT232RL).· It should be availble online by Friday, the price should be around $15.00.
