USB Help! BS2 Discovery

Hi Everyone and sorry if this has been asked a hundred times.· I did a search and didn't see anything on this...
I recently purchased the BS2 Discovery USB and was trying to go through the book.· I was just trying to do the Identity function to make sure I could talk to the Board of Education USB, but I don't think I have the right drivers.· As a matter of fact I downloaded the file R9052151.Zip and tried those drivers but the best I can do is get the USB to serial converter to load, and a Com port.· But as soon as I attempt to do the RUN, Identity function the laptop blue screens and reboots the laptop.·
I am running XP, and have the latest drivers from MS.· I am also running the latest BAISC Stamp Editor v2.2.5
Sorry, I neglected to mention that the other steps in the process are normal.· I have installed the Stamp chip, the battery, turned the board on and I have the green light.
Thanks!
