As to bind to a cell strain gauge, to the Bs2, somebody has the project of linking and example of Software.

    If it uses RS-232, use the BS2 SERIN command.

    We need a little more information. Can you post the part number and vendor of the strain gauge and related equipment? There's lots of different types of strain gauges and load cells, and different ways to interface them also.

    ADC0831 is not suitable for load cell,you need special A/D like AD7730.
