    Nicola -

Basically what you're looking to make or find is a DC motor controller. There are a couple of ways to accomplish what you want to do, but we'll need a bit more information before recommending one of them, or providing an intelligent answer. Here are just a few of the necessary questions that need to be answered:

    1. You don't mention anything about speed control. Is speed control of either or both of the motors important? If you do need speed control, do you need independent (each motor can run at its own speed) speed control?

    2. What is the stall (also known at stalled rotor or lock-up) current of these motors? If you don't know the answer to that, what is the running current, as we can usually approximate the starting and stall current from that.

    3. What is the operating voltage of these motors?

    4. Are these DC brush motors (as often found in toys), or some other type?

    5. Are there any size or mounting constraints for this motor controller?

    Regards,
