New question on the OEM-BS2

There seems to be a discrepency on the pin out with the files that Chris supplied and a BS2-IC module, I understand the files were for refurence only. I bought a Stamp interpriter Ic from Mouser p/n 619-PBASIC2CI/SS and I can't find any documentation for it, so I'm not sure of the pin out. Four pins stand out are SDA ,SCL, TX,and RX. Attached you find the two documents I'm refuring to. Thanks for any help.

Actually there is no discrepancy...You bought an SS chip, and these documents refer to the OEM which uses a DIP version of the chip.· The datasheets indicate the pinout varies between the two flavors of the chip, hence the interpreter as well (since it is merely a programmed PIC).· You will need to make your adjustments based on the datasheets for these two different parts.· I hope this helps.· Take care.
