pda inc touch screen help !

Hi ther, Newb here. I have been trying for 3 days to get my basic stamp to comunicate with my PDA INC touch screen (www.simmetry.com)· Im using pin 15 and 14 for serin/serout connected directly to touch screen unit, they are on the same power source, so they have a comon ground, but I cant seem to get them to communicate.·Also, both units are operating on 9600 baud and I am·using the·pbasic demo program from www.simmetry.com. Am i missing somthing in the wireing, Do i need a resistor ?· Some one please help, this is driving me crazy! shocked.gif

    If you are using a different model of the Basic Stamp other than what was used in the demonstration program, you will probably need to change the baudmode parameter in the SERIN statement.

    true, What is the command on a bs2 for serout at 9600 baudmode ?

    Look up SERIN and/or SEROUT in PBASIC help.· The setting/number used depends upon which STAMP you are using.

    I tried looking it up, but the highest baud mode comand I can seem to find is 2400...
