Need advice on project........?

I am building a radio control/BS controlled bot base and It will have a camera and other stuff, maybe a arm. I will be using a 2 channel radio to control its movements, How should I go about controlling the camera and turning on/off other things ?
I thought about 3 different radios but that seems bulky and kinda silly.

I have a code attached that will allow you to control speed and direction using one joystick on the RC radio box.· This may help you get started.
