Folks,

· I've got the Basic Stamp Editor version 2.2.5 and I everytime I'm calling the "Help->Index" or "Help->Content" the Help guide·does not··respond. It shows up but then it's froze. I have to kill it. I've tried to disable the firewall and talked to my IT guys. Guess what????
So, if someone as a clue I can recommend him in our IT department.

Dell, laptop, XP with all service packs you can think off.

Thanks.
Alex.

Launch Basic Help from the Taskbar and not from within the Basic Stamp Editor.

    Alex,
Try opening the sxb.chm file by finding and clicking on it's icon. If you get a dialog box about gives a warning with a checkbox, try checking or unchecking it so it doesn't warn you again.

If you can get the help file to work without the warning dialog, it should work from the IDE.

    Bean.

Maaaagic.... Found out that my VPN connection has something to do with it too even if all I'm using a a local drive.
Thanks for the solutions. Each day I'm saying thanks to God because both my FMS and autopilot are not coded like windows....
