Is there a picture of how the circuit will look on a homework board?
I can make out most of it, but need assistance figuring out how Sns1 and Sns2 numbered 6 and 7 respectively on the qt113 should be connected. And also 10nf.

Thanks,
Cdub

I would add a 100nf or less connected to the ground for the electrode... No connection but when you touch the electrode you may need some times to also touch the one lead of the cap... (If you do not "ground well" , sorry greek expration but I don't know the English one)

    Provas, Greece

BTW: Nothing special about the circuit it's a easy one...

    (Well, that was certainly confusing...)

Put one end of the cap into the slot of·pin6 and the other end to the slot of·pin7, then put one end of the 100ohm resistor into the slot shared by pin7 and one end of the cap, the other end of the resistor gets pushed into a row all its own.· Guess it's a touch-switch.

    Thank you for the explanations.

When you say the same slot, would that be the empty slot next to it on the same row?

Also, will one end of the 100ohm resistor stick up in the air to be touched?

    Thanks

Hang in the air or place in a slot (slotted means less movement, of course.)

Please see the picture that I added to my previous post.

Great! A picture is worth a thousand words. Pardon my weak electrical skills.

    Thanks again!
