Help starting with BS2sx OEM programming

Hello,

I can't find out how to set up the BS2sx OEM module so I can program it using the basic stamp editor. Page 3 of the doc OEM_BS2sx_manual.pdf does say "there must exist some form of loop back from ‘Sin’ to ‘Sout’ so that the Stampw.exe software can communicate with the stamp". However, the pinouts given in the schematic do not provide 'Sin' or 'Sout' specifically...and what exactly is meant by "loopback"? If it involves placing a part,·could someone please provide the instructions on what to do?

    Hello,

·· The loopback refers to pins 6 & 7 on the serial connection to be tied together.· This is done on the Stamp-side of the cable.

Thank you, Chris, this worked. My dillema was compounded by the fact I was using a Belkin USB-to-RS232 converter. I found the posts on that and have now switched to a computer with a built-in RS232 port.
