Hello!

I m using light dependent resistor(LDR) as a light sensor for my quadcrawler. Do i need a ADC for the circuit? as far i know, the LDR is going to have a analog feedback. I m using BOE and Basic stamp2.

Since you likely wont be needing a very precise measurement of the light level, you can use the LDR as the resistor part of an RC circuit and use the RCTIME function of the stamp to get an approximate value. Read the Stamp Manual and look at Tracy's discussion of the command at http://www.emesystems.com/BS2rct.htm
