Stepper Motors for Drive trains

Can any body give me heads up on which stepper motors to use in constructing a drive train for a small robot? I am currently using two bi-polar stepper motors from Japan servo. kh39fm2-851. They can hardly carry their own weight. I am using two drivers L6219d which i have interfaced with the BS2. I have tried powering my robot with two 9v duracell batteries. Well I came this far and I need to go forward. Please help.

You don't have a lot of oomph in a couple 9v batters -- have you considered changing to a pack of C or D cells?

thanks Jon. I kinda suspected that i needed a different power source but I was too timid to try.
