ULN2003 and Basic Stamp

Hello,

Todya, I started experimenting with the BS2 and the ULN2003. I try to get a better understanding of th ecomponents, but it is not successfull.
Can somebody provide me with a schema and a code example to connect a DC motor to the ULN2003 and a bs2 that controls the ULN2003?

Here is a link which is found on the page where Parallax sells the uln2003. http://www.parallax.com/dl/docs/cols/nv/vol1/col/nv6.pdf···· . Once you have the uln2003 connected to the motor, use freqout or PWM to drive the ULN2003 which will in turn drive the motor. If you are not dealing with currents greater than·the limits of the ULN2003, you can easily accomplish this, even·as a novice.

Thx, this works fine now. As a next step, I try to make a H-bridge with the ULN2003. I am a little stuck in the wiring. Anybody some ideas?

You can't make a H-Bridge with an ULN2003.

To do that you'd need what is called a 'totempole' output, but the ULN2003 only has 'open collector' type outputs.
