RF Switch HELP!

hey

i was wondering if anyone could help me out i am simply wanting to know how to use a RF transmitter and a reciever to work as/replace·the on/off switch in a electrical device i have been searching the net and there is nothing put forward in those simple terms i cant imagine it been to complicated as the RF modules iv seen are made to do several functions i would appreciate it if someone shed a little light on this for me and steered me in the right direction thanks

    · Maybe this could be sent over to 'The Sandbox' (when they leave the cover off overnight you find surprises there the next morning.)· Probably a good idea to get a tetanus booster, too.· I'm just kidding...

    · There are single-button transmitter-receiver combinations available (www.qkits.com).· Typically the transmitter sends a·simple signal and the receiver responds by opening/closing a relay.· You would·implement the relay (contacts) as a switch.
