HomeWork Board

My first exposure to micro controllers was the HomeWork Board and I learn something new everytime I use it. My project drives a servo as part of a speedometer and it was working great on the HomeWork board. But you might imagine that a HomeWork board isn't too geat tucked up under you dashboard so I'm working on moving it to a another board. How can I simulate a Vin port from the HoweWork Board? How's that Vin wired up?
