Inductive Coupling using RFID Reader

So I have been playing around with the RFID reader (Grand Idea Studios - nice product) for the past couple of weeks, getting the gist of RFID . The next step I would like to take is toward inductively power a microcontroller, which will ping an onboard pressure transducer, then send the reading back to the transmitting device (ie. the RFID reader). I guess what I am going after here is passive RF telemetry. Has anyone seen any resources out there on using the RFID reader to power any type of ASIC? My gut (and the RFID reader data sheet) tell probably not, but there is no harm is asking around...right?
