If at all possible, try to make the breadboard look similar to the schmatic.
In that way, you will be less likely to get confused.
If you think you can make a revised schematic work better, do it first on paper to get it right.
It is a lot easier to move lines with pencil and eraser than to move wires around.
You won't get so tired or frustrated.
