max EEPROM capacity with BS2

Hi.
I'm trying to use a 4kB EEPROM (24LC32A) with the basic interpreter chip BS2.
It only works with a 2kB EEPROM (24LC16B).

Is it possible to use a 4kB EEPROM (or higher) ?

Thank you,
Luca.

This question keeps being asked over and over again. Search the forum for previous discussions, but it is not possible to use a larger EEPROM. The interpreter is designed for only 2K bytes. You can attach a serial EEPROM to a group of data pins for storing data, but not program. There are some articles on the Parallax website on how to do this (I think they were written for Nuts and Volts). I've used an EEPROM up to 128K bytes for storing text for display this way. The newer chips (BS2p,pe,px,sx, etc.) do have larger "internal" EEPROMs that can be used on a bank-switched basis for larger programs and data.
