software error??

does anyone else get this error when they start there stamp compilier
right at the beginning it says


"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in the drive."

CANCEL··················· TRY AGAIN························ CONTINUE


it only happens right after I plug in my usb flash drive, just wondering??????

I've never used the Windows version of the compiler, but I've seen similar symptoms when software is trying to populate the Recent Files menu and one of the recent files was on a removable device that's not currently connected. Does the software let you clear the Recent Files menu?

This can happen if you have a Flash Card Reader and no card is plugged into a slot which is assigned a drive letter.· This is because the built-in explorer tries to get volume information for the data on the drives, but there is no disk there.· You can simply cancel past it and you will be fine or diconnect the reader while programming.
