help with the JIDE PORT

···· Currently I am using the JIDE port to download prorgrams to the javelin. However, I would like to use with HyperTerminal. Right now there is a sample program that allows communication to the javelin using HyperTerminal. However, this does not work with the JIDE port, it only works if I do some wire connections to the COM port, and connect the PC to the COM port. Is ther any way to avoid this?

Get "JideWin Terminal.zip" from here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/JavelinCode/files/JideTerm/
That allows you to receive and send data using the Jide port.
