Max current draw of SumoBot?
I am trying to spec out the cheapest wall adapter I can get to power the sumobot. I am assuming the servo motors will be drawing the most current, but I haven't been able to find the max current draw of the continuous servos.
Can someone provide an estimate of the total max current draw?
Thanks,
Robert

Consider: the stamp itself will consume approximately 3 mA (run)-
You also have the servos, which are modified Futaba S148s- 8mA (idle) and varies when running- for sake of argument let's say 1000 mA run
In reality you should be fine with a 7.5v 1000 mA supply-
Do you plan on running these with a power tether?

Spikes can happen on stalls, albeit momentarily.

I am actually going to be teaching a class using the sumobots, and while the students get started learning PBASIC, the tools, and working with sensors I wanted them to not worry about batteries running down, hence the external power. Even playing with servos can be accomplished by putting the bot "on blocks."
Thanks again,
