IMPORTANT NOTICE: All SX Chips Will Be RoHS-Compliant September 1, 2006


Beginning September 1, 2006 Parallax will only stock RoHS-complaint (lead free) SX chips. The conversion toward lead free is consistent with Parallax’s lead free policy. If you are interested in purchasing non-lead free (conventional) chips, please place your orders as soon as possible.

    Are there any issues with using these new lead-free chips - for instance is soldering the new lead-free chips with lead solder a proplem?
