hello
is it safe to install a basic stamp 2 ic module into a breadboard without a socket
any input would be appreciated

    like a proto-board and solider to it? i dont see why not.

    well then definitely yes. if its one of those push in pressure hold types, just be very careful taking the bs2 out.

    my way of doing it is to take a small screw driver with some tape on the end and prey it a little on one side and then the other and slowly work it out. but also keep in mind that there are traces on the bottom of the BS2 that are part of its circuit, you scratch one of them and is most likely game over
