Trouble Connecting to macbook pro

I have the BS editor, and am using BS2 w/ a prolific tech inc. USB to Serial adapter. Is there something I am missing for it to work? Because my laptop wont recognise the BS2.

    I'm having other technical issues with my circuitry but I'm using a MBpro with dongle usb/232 converter just fine with bootcamp and winxp.

    MacBS2 isn't Universal, so it's running under Rosetta which could cause complications. I don't have an Intel Mac yet so I haven't spent any time yet figuring out Rosetta/Native issues. The first step toward troubleshooting is to make sure your software works with your hardware. Does MacBS2 see your USB to Serial Adapter?

    According to the MacBS2 author's site, the Prolific USB to serial adapter isn't compatable with MacBS2. See this link for compatable adapters www.muratnkonar.com/otherstuff/macbs2/faq.shtml
