Running words throught LCD

If you guys ever walked on the streets, you've probably seen the LED displys that viewed running images and letters. I was wondering is it is possible to do so on BS2s? I just don't want to lose any EEPROM.

Any ideas?

I have sample code for the BS2p,BS2pe, and BS2px.· This uses a grid of LEDS and scrolls a birthday message.
