Greetings:
Is it possible to take a serial 16 bit A/D to a· Basic stamp(?) do some averaging, controlling some external relays, than send the 16 bit serial to an analog output.? the speed is going to be real slow 5 sec to 1 minute.
Any recommened basic chips and·16 bit a/d and 16 bit serial D/A's would be helpful.
·I have been looking at the Microchip TC500,510 or the 514··, or the Cirrus Logic CS5501 or CS5503 for the A/d's.
·the D/A's are are still in limbo as of now.
eventially it will be a stand alone sending to a 4-20 ma output , have not looked yet at a voltage to 4-20 ma converter yet.
·Thanks, Forrest

Check Analog Devices for several A/D converters.
