I'm looking at a pair of these gearhead motors http://banebots.com/osc/product_info.php?cPath=36_63&products_id=234·and a pair of HB-25 controlers for my current robot project.
My concern is the motors·37 amp stall current and the 35 amp surge limit for the HB-25.· Can one of you Parallax guys tell me if I can safely use this combination?· If not, is there some sort of solid state current limiter or a solid state curcuit breaker i could use?· This will partially be a security sentry bot so I don't want it to get disabled easily.

You can choose an appropriate fuse (and you should) that will blow when the motor current is excessive.· Besides that the H-Bridge will fault under certain conditions shutting the motor down.·
