KeyPad question

I've been looking at allelectronics.com magazine, and I spotted a KeyPan Encoder IC.

Hooking up is not a prblem, but hooking it up to the BS2 is.

On page 5, they have data outputs, 4 of them. Does anyone has a code that I can use so BS2 can understand its inputs?

I plan to make a BS2 to light a led when four correct keys are entered.

Any ideas?

hey I just bought that chip from them, and for the past week I have been playing around with it like crazy, I have·2 peices of code that will output direct decimal numbers using a 3x4 keypad, because ALL electronics was out of the 4x4 keypads
