Problem with my LCD BPI-216L

Hi,
· I know that this issue has been discussed sometime ago, but I cannot find whether it was resolved and how.
The issue is that I am trying to use my LCD BPI-216L from Scott Edwards, and even though I use their exact example, and even though the static test works OK and the screen shows the test text, when I run it via a stamp·2sx·the screen shows·two rows of 90 degree triangles. The baud rate is $40F0 which correspond to 9600 baud.
Someone suggested to use·$40F1 (because of resonator tollerances·with the SX)·which I also tried but I got the same results.
I did not try lower baud rates. Maybe that is the next logical step. Any suggestions?
